
1) The Pamirs and Wakhan region (early July 2010 - early August 2010) : road from Dushambe to Osh, with possibly a side trip on the Afghan side of the Wakhan Corridor, then Irkeshtam pass towards Chinese Turkestan. 1,200 km by tricycle and a 7 day trek near Lake Yachilkul.
2) North Karakoram (early August - early September 2010) : Chinese Turkestan – Northern Pakistan. 800 km by bike and 10 days on foot (Hunza Valley, Batura glacier).
3) Western Tibet (early September - late October 2010) : Kashgar – Lhasa via Mount Kailash. Without a doubt one of the hardest cycle-touring roads, bordering the Taklamakan desert, crossing the Kun Lun mountains and the controversial Aksai Chin desert above 5000m of altitude for several hundreds of kms. 3,200km by tricycle and 5 days of walking around Mont Kailash and Lake Manasarovar.
4) Friendship Highway (November 2010) : Lhasa – Kathmandu via the Everest Base Camp. Trekking and mountaineering in the region of Nyicheng Gyansang. 1,100 km by tricycle plus 6 days on foot.
5) Nepal (December 2010) : Trek to the Everest Base Camp (Nepali side), Gokyo, Imja Tse (6 189 m).
6) Sikkim (January 2010) : region marking the South-Eastern edge of the Indian Himalaya, and the end of this adventure. 500km by tricycle and a 4-day trek at the foot of Kachenjuga as a conclusion to the adventure.
